- Shared Effort is my second collaborative project with Gorellaume and is the conceptual continuation of the mural Through the Thought Process. The light bulb in the first mural—the idea—hangs like a droplet of water. Follow that minuscule droplet to the beginning of Shared Effort and ‘the idea’ ripples through the very walls of the space, breaking through its icy barriers. Yukon animals, representing community support, burst forth in a shared effort to build up ‘the idea’ into a cohesive structure. It is both supporting the natural environment and is being supported in a seemingly symbiotic relationship addressing the importance of our environment during development.
